What exactly is coaching?
Coaching combines powerful sets of tools and draws from several theories of psychology. A coach’s expertise is in behavior change; their purpose is to be with clients through journeys of discovery and evoke client’s own motivation to follow through on self-directed goals. The client is always in the driver’s seat, with the coach riding next to them.
Coaches are a bridge
from where you are to
where you want to be.
What can I work on with a coach?
Has a doctor ever told you “you should start exercising” or “you should eat more vegetables;” Or maybe you have thought “I need to get out more” or “maybe I should start meditating?” And then….nothing happens. That’s where a coach comes in. We are a bridge from where you are to where you want to be. I like to think of it as a covered bridge (I am in Vermont). We can work on things like getting better sleep, reducing processed food, incorporating movement into your life, time management, stress reduction, spiritual & personal growth, social connection, and managing chronic illness (to name just a few).
Coaches help you find the path to best incorporate the changes you want in your life, at your pace, and with your vision; all with our unconditional support and no judgement––you can never disappoint a coach! We offer small tips and resources with your permission; brainstorm with you; and give you a safe space to reflect, learn about yourself, and just be. It’s a subtle yet powerful relationship that many find transformative.

Meet Kim
With a background in creative design and psychology, and a Health & Wellness coaching certification from mindbodygreen Institute, Kim brings a unique combination of skills and experiences to coaching. A former processed food junkie and college party girl, her own health and wellness journey began from a process of waking up to what really mattered in life and deciding to buck the trends of what we’re all “supposed” to do. Her alternative living style and explorations of the nature of consciousness and what it means to be alive have given her a wide perspective through which she relates to clients and thinks about personal growth . She has a zest for life, warmth, and a logical yet creative mind that helps her help you in a way that fits you best.
